ARTIST’S SUPPORT FUND

In addition to hosting various solo and group, local and international exhibitions, the National Art Gallery is passionate about facilitating professional development opportunities for Maldivian artists (by holding presentations, discussion seminars, training workshops, artist talks etc.) regarding all areas associated with both the visual and the performing Arts. In this regard, the National Centre for the Arts takes pride in facilitating an ‘Artist’s Support Fund’ providing financial assistance to artists of all genres.

MALDIVIAN ARTISTS’ DIRECTORY

The ‘Maldivian Artists Directory’ is open to all Maldivian artists practicing in the various fields of music, fine art, craft practices, performing arts, film and related technical disciplines. The Maldivian Artists’ Directory is categorised as follows: Visual, Literary, Traditional, Music and Performing Arts for purposes of organization. This website provides a great opportunity for artists to collaborate together, while enhancing their profiles and capacity.
