Yogendra Tripathi
YOGENDRA TRIPATHI was born in 1965. He recieved a Masters degree in Painting from the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishva Vidyalaya Khairagarh in Chhattisgarh. Yogendra is the recipeint of several awards, including the Raza Foundation Award in 2005, a National Award by the Lalit Kala Akademi in 2002, a State Award from the Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad, Bhopal, and the Ravi Jain Memorial Award, New Delhi. He has held several solo exhibitions of his work in India, and partcipated in group shows within India as well as overseas. His work is in the collection of Barath Bhavan, Bhopal, the Nehru Art Centre, Mumbai and several private and public collections. Yogendra lives in Bhilai, and teaches art at Durg.
