Anjana Mehra

Born in Delhi in 1949, ANJANA MEHRA
secured her Diploma in Painting at Sir J.J School of Art, Mumbai in 1965 and her post Graduation in Printmaking at the Faculty of Fine Art, M.S. University, Baroda. She has participated in many group shows including the National Exhibition, New Delhi in 1974, Etchings at the Jerhard Dedeke Gallery, Germany and at the N.N Gallery Seattle, U.S.A. in 1976, the 6th Triennial, New Delhi in 1986, the 2nd Asian European Art Biennial, Ankara in 1988, the Biennale at Bharat Dhavan Dhopal in 1990, "50 years of Art in Bombay" at National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai in 1997. Her paintings were auctioned by Sotheby's in 1998 and by Christie's in 1999. Anajana Mehra lives and works in Mumbai.
