Danish artist Søren Dahlgaard photographed 98 Dough portraits of Maldivians at The National Art Gallery of Maldives on the 22nd and 23rd of July 2009. People who attended enjoyed this new and slightly strange experience.
The images will be exhibited at The National Art Gallery in 2010 (dates will be announced).
The Dough portrait project was first done and exhibited at The National Gallery, Copenhagen, Denmark in 2008.

In 2010 Søren Dahlgaard will make new Dough portraits in Los Angeles and exhibit them at Shoshana Wayne Gallery, Santa Monica.

More venues in different locations around the world will be added to the list and a publication is planned to sum up the project.
