The cruise liner ‘The World’ hosted 10 pieces of artwork by 2 Maldivian artists, Mariyam Naeema Omar and Afzal Shaafiu Hassan for 5 days from 26th April 2008. Mr. Mamdhooh Waheed and Mr. Ahmed Naeem accompanied the artists, from the National Art Gallery.
